Saint Luke's Youth Ministry- This ministry is led by our youth minister Bro. Lamar Jones.
With help from various volunteers, he leads our children in the path of righteousness as our perfect example, Jesus Christ, leads us.
Youth Church is one of the delightful ministries of the Saint Luke African Methodist Episcopal Church. Youth Church meets during the regular 10:30 am service on Sunday mornings. This ministry seeks to provide the pre-adolescents with an opportunity to experience worship and learning in an atmosphere suited to their capacity and intelligence. Through Biblical teaching, art, games, sharing and PowerPoint presentations, the youth learn valuable lessons in faith, life and their Lord. Usually the youth are permitted to enjoy the beginning of the 10:30 am service and are dismissed to Youth Church prior to the preaching of the Word of God.
Ministry is an integral part of life at Saint Luke A. M. E., from praying to singing, to playing games or gathering for Bible study, there's a place of service and belonging for everyone. The various ministries at Saint Luke exist to strengthen and enrich the body of Christ, reach out to the community, provide much-needed services, and allow individuals to serve according to their God-given abilities. We have an abundance of ministry opportunities, so don't miss out!
